Yellow Mello

Ow! You know, I hate these behind the ear headphone things, they're good in the way they don't pull my hair like other headphones, but they suck cuz they rest on the top of my ear and start cuasing me pain. :P

Anyway, I've been doing so many signatures or people in the tourney...it's crazy! I've been offered free webhosting, $15, and have gotten Soldat registered! :D

I've also been messing in Python lately, working on a dominoes game. So far its plan Python, everything being text based, but I'm sure I can get an actual interface once I'm done figuring out the basics on this stuff :)

Flash

I write this as I rip my hairs out, trying to get my Christmas animation, which is due Friday, ready by getting the music to work properly across the scenes. It has to change volume in one, come back to normal in another, without affecting other sounds in the same scene. What a pain. -.-

Luchador

Hey guess what? I don't have work for the next week and a half. Atleast. Meaning I have one full week of Winter break awesomeness!

Anyway, uh...I caught a stomach bug yesterday. Barfed for the first time in some 8+ years. I forgot how crappy you feel while you do that.

Today I am much better, but my nose is all stuffed up and I feel a little light-headed or something, probably from al lthe mucus en mi cabeza!

I gotta start working more on that Christmas animation I have planned for my comic...I'm only about 1/4 done with it, and I need it by the 23rd. I'll probably get all of it done during that first days of the awesome school+workless week.

Gurgle

Ahhh...another Monday. Don't ya love em?

Well, I can say I'm excited this week. First off, I will be doign school all week with the great anticipation for Winter Break to start next week. I can't wait...

Second, I'll be very happy to talk to Nipz again. Nipz is another British dude who had gone off to college in the past months, and who had to leave the tournament because of bandwidth issues over there. Luckily, he gets a winter break too, so I'll be able to talk to him on Friday. Plus he claims to be able to move somewhere with proper broadband in some months or less, so that's good news too.

Third...I haven't seen today's Strong Bad...

Fifth, there is no fourth

And lastly, Mike's b-day was a blast. I bowled a 205 (best ever), wore pink, saw Michael drowning (or imagining it? I dont remember :D), and saw how bad Paula would enterring a gating community (lol). What a day...whoever wasn't there is hereby grounded.

Uhm, ok, I'm gonna finish my science...countdown to winter break, 4 days, 15.5 hours...

Come in now and get no interest for 24 months...

No, a Best Buy commercial was just on. Anyway, what do I gotta say, um, I had so much in my mind yesterday, unfortunately when I sleep almost all that stuff gets cleared. We're almost to the end of our first official BF2 campaign. Sign ups will be sometime next year in January I guess, if ya wanna join. ;) Uhm...I have...forgotten everything...I was gonna write. Well that sucks, I guess I'll just explain that alien thing.

Ok, this is just incase some other people read this: I am a Christian, I believe in God, I believe he created this whole world and universe, and so I also believe in the angels he created. I also believe he had to cast a third of em, and they, as you know em, are the devil and his demons.

Anyway, I don't know if you guys have ever read a part where it says that fallen angels actually mixed with the seed of a woman or something. That's how the "giants" in the Promise Land supposedly came about. They were...strange human beings. Anyway, it's no surprise that nowadays, with all these technologies, some scientists may have messed with a lot of genetics and animals and humans and...just...some really crapped up stuff. So, this is what I think any future aliens will be. I think that very soon, the government may say SOMETHING about aliens and that they may exist or some crap like that. Please don't believe that. You know how you here "Intelligent Design" from some people in government, I think they're referring to these supposed "aliens". Why do all this? This is probably the way they will begin to introduce the anti-christ. Somehow, aliens are gonna be part of his...rule? Of him being here, he's gonna use them somehow. A small proof, and one you may not want to believe comes straight from the TV. Have you noticed that flux of new alien series? That, "Invasion" and that other one on CBS. In fact, they showed "Mars Attack" over the weekend, and I was like "omg, that's so old". I think the media is just trying to start desensitizing people for this. It would make sense to do it right? Anyway, I don't care if you think I'm crazy, this will probably happen within some months or less, if it does, please remember this, if it doesn't...well, it will eventually. Just don't forget what I've posted...

Wow...

Haven't been here in a while...

I plan on updating more around here after a large inactivity. Why? I don't know...BECAUSE I FEEL like it...

In summary of what's happened in the past months:

I got my job back (God even TOLD me he would, sweet ey?)
I am still hungry, eating rice all the time, and the same weight/height
Comics are going fine, opened shop and have mad like...$23 total since it opened in...August or September, can't remember (EY A RHYME!)
I wasted $25 on BF2: Special Forces (gosh Bubba is so wise :P)
And...aliens are coming! (maybe...more on that later ;D)

That is all...

Hunger...

Wow, I haven't posted in here for a while! :D

Nothing much to say, school started, 1 more year and all of it's over (atleast, till college, but that's when I'll be in school learning something I want to learn :P) and...lunch time is coming, parents leaving to Colombia tomorrow, 10 days of survival-endurance beginss! :D

Ice Cream Scooper

Look at that picture, tell me what yous see...

That's right, a certain little fatgirl has made it to first place among some 10+ guys in Soldat. Somehow Giselle is Soldat gifted and its funny hearing a bunch of my tourney friends call her a hacker when she plays with them! :D Yea, I've actually been Soldat'n quite a bit. Its really cool when you got a full Soldat server thing going. Now with the third computer (the one I built) I can host a dedicated server there while my mom does some minimum browsing. Then, I don't know why, but I guess it has to do something with Linux, the port actually stays at the one its suppose to be (27073) :D Combine that with my DNS routing at no-ip.com, you can pretty much just click soldat://stealthbarp.no-ip.com:23073 and it should bring you to my server (whens its up of course :P). Its really fun when I get the toureny guys to play, and with 8 people, 2 of em being my sis and I on the LAN with 0 ping, its a blast. I especially love hearing Bleh whine when I throw a knife at him. *Aw...no way..." >:)

I knew it!

It was eventually gonna happen, just like every other blog/journal/diary thing I've tried. I get bored, or distracted and eventually stop. I don't really know why...I do like blogging, but apparently my life isn't exciting enough to write a blog on ^_^. I could write articles and stuff, venting out opinions on stuff, but I don't want to waste my time when no one reads my blog anyway :P I liked the way the blogging at JoeUser.com worked, if I wanted to express an opinion, it would be over there. The main site has a sidebar to the right showing the latest blog posts by everyone. I don't know how blogger chooses its latest blog but I know other people aren't gonna be finding my blog on there. Anyway, I'm usually playing Battlefield 2 and do that for the whole day. So as I said before, my life isn't exciing enough to blog about. And I'm not saying that's a bad thing either. I don't expect to go through dramatic things in my life and if I did, I'd probably talk to God about it and forget to mention it on here :P So yea...right now I'm watching "America's Funniest Hoem Videos" and listening to this guys remix of the "Moon Patrol" game's song. It sounds like he's doing it all with his mouth. You can find a bunch of cool classic game remixes at Ocremix.org.

However, what has happened recently worth mentioning could be:

I have joined the Pasadaran company for this beta campaign of BF2. They're are the spec-ops group of the division. I had to leave Bandar, formerly known as Al-nida, which sucked, cuz they're a lot of fun to be with. But hopefully Pasadaran will allow me to work up some more skills, or allow whatever skill I have to be put to use.

I have gone through...3 distributions of Linux on my laptop already. I had updated my laptop only to get its wireless connection messed up. So, I tried Suse 9.2, only to find it didn't want to start up the X display, which meant I had to do everything through a command prompt. Screw that and I downloaded, burned, and installed the 3 CD Mandrake 2005 LE. This is a nice looking distro, unfortunately it had trouble with my wireless adapter (Intel PRO/wireless 2200BG) and the support for the distro really only comes if you pay for it (it is a commercial distro) so I wasn't able to figure it out. Then I tried Debian, the small FTP install version, only to find that it wasn't detecting my CD drive. I could've installed it using an older 2.4 kernel, but I wanted the newer 2.6, and following a guide I found online didn't worked so I screwed that one too and reinstalled Kubuntu, which has been the only distro to detect everything fine. The only thing is that I have to update my wireless card's firmware and drivers, which is easy with this nice HowTo this guy on the Ubuntu forums made. Ubuntu has an amazing community with a bunch of info on everything you need, its nice to see such a new distro be supported so well, and all for free. Either way, I updated it again and I lost my eth1 (wireless card) network connection again -_-. This time however, I posted it on the forums and expect a solution. I'm eagerly awaiting the next release of Ubuntu, Breezy Badger, which has a goal to completely support Dell laptops (Toshiba, IBM, and HP too). I'll definitely be downloading that off BitTorrent as soon as it comes out in October.

I'm learning to program with a proffesional language ^_^ I have bought "Learning Python", a book published by the wonderful O'Reily people. I'm about half-way and have learned enough to make some simple programs. In fact, I'm gonna try to make my first one soon. It'll be a playlist converter, that takes the standard .m3u playlists files and turns them into the playlist format used by my Samsung MP3 player, because for some reason, it needs a special type that I can't find a program that does it for me.

And so concludes this long post...I wanna welcome back all my Youth Group dudes and dudetts who came back from Guatemala yesterday! :D HI!

Reached Ultimate Goal in BF2

Toook me 3 weeks and a day, but I have finally gotten my Expert Knife Combat badge ^_^ !!!

Friday, July 08, 2005

Another "out-of-the-blue" update:

Once again I have taken the time out of BF2 to do other things that need to be done, I thought I'd have enough interesting stuff to write about now, hence, why I felt like updating my blog. ;)

First off, as usual I have been playing BF2 :P I have achieved part of my goal and gotten every basic badge! You can check out all my badges from that link I posted some days ago.

Next on the list is on my new expeditions into the programming world with Python. I'm trying to learn this language so that I can then step up and learn Pygame. Before I used to use Game Maker, which is awesome and stuff, but the built-in language won't really work outside of GM. Although I have to say, that learning how to code in GM does help quite a bit in learning a real language like Python, because I know a lot of the terms involved in programming and have a very basic idea on common syntax used. When I learn Pygame I plan on writing up a tutorial for all the GM users who'd like to transition to something they can use in the future. :)

Ok, what else...uh...Casbar is evil. He actually killed me in a head to head knife fight. I am ashamed and shall make trying to get him as my number one victim a priority. ^_^

I upgraded my laptop's memory, and now have 1GB of PC4200 DDR RAM. I got it mainly because Battlefield 2 is a resource sucking game, and 512 wasn't cutting it. It runs awesome now, no more sound stuttering, and loading times are just as quick as my desktop! I also bought another Intellimouse since I hate using the touchpad.

I'm sure there was something else...but I can't remember. So I'll just end with a farewell and blessings to all my Youth Groupians who are leaving/left to Guatemala on the mission trip, prayers to all the British families who have been affected by the recent attack, and some BF2 screenies...

Update 2

Yea...so...

We've mainly been doing a whole mess load of crap yard work around the house. We're getting a circular driveway installed and we got to keep the dirt path dry for some reason and its a huge pain laying down the 4 large sheets of plastic and place the heavy stepping stones to keep em from blowing. Our weather has been so evil lately, raining almost EVERY afternoon, beating sun, and its been like that for some weeks now with no ending signs. Sheesh! Lows of high 70s and highs of low 90s. Well, really hhigh 80s, but with this humidity it could easily feel like 100+. Anyway, we went bowling again for Father's Day. I felt so much more experienced and stronger this time ^_^ I acutally got a strike on a play throw with my left hand (I'm right handed :P) and that was cool. Tomorrow I'll be spending all day drawing stuff for people. First the daily "Just Deserts" comic, which has reached 21 strips so far (w00t!), then finish up Holysoldier's LAN strip, then Xb385's sig, then add sumthin' to Bubba's, make Taps', Oz's, Jones', and anyone else I can remember! :D

Also I will be building my second comp. Its for my Uncle Joe, and it will be running Linux! He's tired of Microsoft, Windows, and all the OEM PC's pre-installed crap, and I have the pleasure of spending some $1200 on his machine. Hopefully everything will go just as smooth during the building as it did with my first :)

And...Casbar bought a Jeep on eBay. YAY! :D

Life update:

Ok, a couple of days have gone by, and you must be wondering what has happened since Saturday. Well...

Saturday: I can't remember what I did. :D All I know is that in the evening we went to our Grandma's house. :P

Sunday: Dad's birthday, so we take him bowling. Me and my mom split the cost, and we rent "Ocean's Twelve" for the night. I've seen it before, but my parents hadn't, and I rather have watched that again then rent "Are we there yet?". >_< THere's nothing good in Blockbuster anymore...

And so...today I've finished setting up all my stuff on my new;y reformatted comp. I can't believe I had to call Microsoft to give me an activation ID. I hate Windows. When I first installed it, the comp booted in 15 seconds. But with Windows' highly inefficient piece of crap registry system and who-knows-what built-in mechanisms, after installing most of my programs, boot times shot up to some 35+ seconds. Its not bad, definitely better than the 2 minutes from before, but still.. Linux boots the same speed all the time, regardless of how much you installed (unless of course they are services that you install, but there aren't that many and they take like...0.25 seconds to launch? :P)

Ahh...oh well...

Ho hum...

Let's see what I got to talk about...

Its funny, how during school when I should've been doing work, I posted up my blogs, and I posted them way more frequently than I do now that its summer vacation and I got all the time in the world. ^_^

SO yea, let's see...it looks like my dad's all hyped up on getting me my permit. He's found out info about the insurance and I got info from Mike on what to do. That's cool, I'll be taking that DATA course soon. I don't get why NOW though, cuz I could've had a license or sumthin by now, seeing as how my "I-wanna-drive" phase was during my year of 15 years. >_>

I'm currently reading a Tom Clancy book, Op-center: Acts of War. I have read all the Op-center's before that too, this one looks like its about some Kurdish terrorists breaking a dam in Turkey (or was it Syria...) and releasing the waters of the Euphrates (yea, thats the river in the Bible incase it sounded familiar ~_^) to replensih the dryness of Iran and...Syria? Syria has something to do with something! :D

Yesterday was a blast playing with Moe and Smitty, versus me and Casbar. Moe is this German dude who uhm...is in Ninja company (i.e. the monkeys) and...he has a little girl, and...he doesn't like Soldat for some odd reason! :D Anyway, it was great. The map we've been practicing on is the map for this week's battle. I just hang around to help the other guys practice, as I'm not playing this campaign. Anyway, the map is Sniper heaven. So many tricky places, pretty much the whole game we were sitting somewhere, or quietly moving from place to place to sit there for another 5 minutes. ^_^ I knifed everyone atleast once I believe...hehehe

And today, today there will be a small, but special "Just Deserts", and I'm gonna start reinstalling some stuff on the new hard drive. I decided to just take everything off of it, move all of Fatty's files and reinstall whatever is needed on to her main drive, so that I can take my 120GB one. Then once everything is done, I'll format the 80GB in this Dell, and move it to the new PC. That one will have Windows 2000 and Ubuntu on dual-boot. Also, I'm trying to this all before 12 noon because the Battlefield 2 demo may be out today!!1! :D

Freeedommm...

Yes, now it is official, there is no more work. We finished yesterday night, and its finally over. So there is goes my first job. In total over the last months as of my first paycheck on January 13th, I've made $3,095.82, not counting the next paycheck I'm suppose to get for this and last week. Overall, I've spent about 80% on electronics (big surprise woooo) with $2,512 going into that! Uhm...let's see, I gotta give about $100 for tithe, $15 for the cellphone bill, and...that leaves me with about $51, plus last week's check should be about $200 and then the last 2 days are $64...so I got $264 to live off of for the next weeks. Oh gee...^_^

Anyway, no updates on what could be my next job. I'm not sure what the deciding facotr is, so I'm just waiting for my dad to tell me more about it when he can. They're coming down from New York (I think I said California before) and they'll be quite East of us, near the beach I was told, so its quite a bit away. I'll either have to take the bus or get my permit! :D

Monday, June 06, 2005

DOH!

Yea, it looks like I still have work...

Oh well, check out the new comic! ;)

Comp pics!

Case, looks bright cuz camera flash... Posted by Hello

Insides, that Geforce2 is now a 9800 Pro...

Radeon right, new card left :D

Ding! ding! ding!

And the final test scores are:
Bible: 97% A
History: 90% A
Math: 90% A
Language: 88% B
Science: 86% B

Yay! Now I gotta finish this project, grade some stuff, get my graphics card installed, finish my last day of work today (YESS!!) do an IOWA test tomorrow.

Also, for a little more info, looks like God is planning a nice big ol' blessing for me. One of my Dad's bosses ask him about me and if I was working. Because they have one of the sections of their business moving to Florida from California and they're gonna be hiring people. And me, having my dad as a connnection, was offered a job there. If my dad lets me, and he's really thinking about it, I'll be working there. This is so awesome for me and I thank God for everything. Its so cool because 1. my first job wasn't a small minimum wage paid job, but a nice $8.50 an hour job, 2. Its only been 1/2 a year and now my job ended, and I get offered with a new one that is 3. professional! This is not like my current job which gets projects and we work, but there's really no room for growing in that business. In the new one, I can grow in rank like my Dad, get paid more, do more, like a real business should be. Its pretty much a jump to work just like my what my Dad is doing now. And all this is happening, and I'm only 16! I mean, how many people are looking for a job whoe are 20+? This is why God deserves all the credit because I've obviously done nothing to get myself into this position, its all by God's grace. WOOHOO! :D

End of the week...

Boy, I reallly can't wait! There's only 2 more school days left (because of this longer holdiay weekend :D) and it looks like the job might end today, since they didn't give me my freaking paycheck yesterday. They apparently want people to go today, so we'll see if they make some announcement. Anyway, I just check the status on my shipments, everything but the case has arrived at some Ft. Lauderdale FedEx ramp which is cool, but I know they won't ship it to me until the case comes...from TN. They did that last time when my scanner and router came from different places, one of em was here for a day, and I had to wait another so that tehy could give me both. BAH!

Purchase 1: Complete

Processor, Case, CD drive, and RAM have been ordered, and according to Newegg, at status 3, which means they were just charged on the card, all's left is to package and send me my stuff. As for the Geforce, I'll be getting my check today, it will be very small though, as last week was when I got sick, and I missed 2.25 days. Which is...$75ish. MEANING 1/2 my weekly check, so right now I'm left with $227, I'll need atleast $73 so I can get the card, and maybe I can convince my dad to pay the extra $30 that I'm suppose to get back from a rebate. I thought Newegg had taken the deal off, but apparently I was looking at the wrong card or sumthin because it came back o_O. ORRRR if Justin can pull through and use his super-circuit-city-employee powers...^_^ Either way, I'm gonna have to start backing up all my data soon, that'll be a pain. And I gotta make a slipstream disc of WinXP + SP2 for the new comp, seeing as how the comp its replacing will become a Linux box, so hopefully Dell's Windows key wasn't activated yet >_<

Time to eat food!

Snack time!

Yea...anyway, lil update on my job. It will be ending May 30th apparently. We will have 1 month's break until July when the next project comes. So I'll be having 1 month of full summer vacation this June. WOOHOO! I'll be making half of my comp purchase today, since I'm already seeing some of the sales I wanted missing, and I'm not patient. Either way, this is the type of stuff that usually won't go on sale, or is cheap enough as it is. Sooo...only things left would be RAM (which prob will go on sale, so I'll wait for that) and my graphics card.

Blablabla...

School ends in less than 2 weeks, and so does my job apparently. You see, my job as a data entry guy depends on the different things the company is made to do. They get requests from other businesses to do certain stuff, and that's our work. This project we've had, called "Tiaa" is almost complete, and apparently we have to finish indexing and scanning verything by the 30th. After that I'm not sure what happens, I heard they already got the next project ready, or maybe we'll get a lay-off for a couple weeks/months until they do. Either way, Summer looks VERY free, except for the part that I'm gonna have to get some volunteer hours for 12th grade, as I don't have any yet! >_<

Friday, May 20, 2005

Yummy!

I'm pretty much over my cold now, got my body strength back, sore throat gone and stuff, now I just need a couple days to lose all this excess mucus my body produced. MAN, its thick and like...yellowish-white and sticky, I could be blowing it out of my nose for half-an-hour cuz there's just so much. I also better bring some cough drops to work today, still have that...

Anyway, I'm planning on buying my biggest purchase of electronics ever. I think by the 26th, I'll have just enough money to buy:
Rosewill Value R103A Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/350W Power Supply
Rosewill RR-521 Black Black IDE CD Burner - Retail
Intel Celeron D 315 Prescott 533MHz FSB Socket 478 Processor Model BX80546RE2267C - Retail
eVGA 256-A8-N344-AX Geforce 6800GT 256MB GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card
Corsair VS1GBKIT400 1GB Kit DDR400 PC3200 CAS2.5 Value Select Memory Retail

Total: $538.95 i.e. EVERYTHING I'LL HAVE BY THURSDAY...

For what you ask? Well, that Geforce 6800GT (yea, not an X800XL Justin, this comes out cheaper (with rebate) and some forum friends convinced me to get it! :D) and the 1GB memory kit is my upgrade for Battlefield 2 (which is made by EA, which optimizes for Nvidia cards anyway ;D) and the Case, CD-drive, and CPU are for the first computer I plan to build. Hopefulyl everything goes right. I have so much stuff lying around here (motherboard ($50+ spent and *wasted*, thats another story) then, memory, harddrive, monitor, keyboard, and mouse!) that I might as well build this thing. Yea...that's a lot of parentheses...

Samsung YH-820

Ok, so here it is...

Ok, the thing cost about $210 ($198.62 + tax), its about 3.5" tall, 2" wide, and 0.5" thick. There are 3 little buttons in the front, back, play/pause, next, and then the lower section is a clickable button, 4 sides for menu, select, up, and down. Down side is there is no freaking stop button. I can only pause, and when I turn it off and on again, it'll start playing from that last paused position. Did I mention the pause/play button is also the power button? >_< It has a nice little color screen, which I've already modified the ennding shutdown animation it uses to my nice bowl of rice logo rolling away. It displays JPEGs, though not that great. Can play MP3 and WMA, when it supposedly could play OGG. If it can, I don't know how to do it because the only software this thing supports is Windows Media Player, which can't open Oggs, and Napster, which I don't feel like installing. Battery life is supposedly 8 hours, but I got my first death yesterday at around 5.5 hours. Not that I care, all I need is 4 hours to last me through work ;) Overall nice MP3 player, but I hope Samsung releases an updated firmware...

In other news, I still don't feel well, can't breathe well through one nostril, throat isn't sore anymore, but that mucus-dryness feeling is what I got now, which sucks. Drinking liquids doesn't help either. MAN though, if you ever have a sore throat, you people need to get some colloidal silver. That stuff is like...a gift from God. Its pretty much water, with ionized silver particles or somethin', but that thing instantly, and I mean that, instantly took the major soreness in my throat away. I coudln't believe it, it was like 2 teasponns or whatever, in a little medicine cup, held it in the back of my throat for 10 seconds, swallowed, and wow, what a difference. I could actualyl swallow without the pain through the night. Do some research on it, that stuff is like the ultimate medicine.  Posted by Hello

So much stuff to say...

Wow, yesterday was awesome. Andrew Phillip was doing worship, he has such a heart for God. And something he said struck me, he said that if you were a friend of Jesus, you would tell someone about Him. Wow. Its's so true, and yet...we don't do it. So I'll do it now. I thought hard about what I would say about Him, without being excessively boring, pushy, or lame. So I couldn't think about it. ;) And thank God he already wrote something for me! :D

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Guys, that all you would need to know. God loves us, and he sent his only Son to die for our sins. Humankind is sinful, and we'll never be good enough for Heaven. But Jesus was, he was perfect, and as the perfect sacrifice, he cleaned ALL of our sins. All you need to do is believe that to get to Heaven. How I wish you all could believe that, though I know some won't. And soon, all of those who believe in God, will be gone. One day, and you guys PLEASE remember this, millions of people around the world will disappear, all of them Christian. You'll probably hear weird stuff like aliens, or just strange things like that, but guys, it was the rapture, and God just took everyone of his people into heaven. The thing was, we know this is gonna happen, the Bible said it hundreds of years ago (read Revelations if you want). If you guys ever have ANY questions, feel free to ask. I know I sound, and all this may sound crazy, but I love God guys, and I love all of you too, I just want all of you to know. I'm not gonna "preach" at you, as that's not how it works. God gave us a free will, and YOU have decide to believe it. All I can do is tell you about Him, as I just did above. So I just hope that my life helps show an example of a child of God, and I thank God for doing everything for me. God thank you! You're so frickin' awesome! :D

Also, just wanna give my props out to my 502IB (that's what 10AD is now known as for campaign 10) teammates, we won/tied 3 outta 4 of the Best of the Best Competition sections, you guys are the bestest!

One of you better give me a shirt...(*stares at Smitty)

Early release!

YESSS...to give some background info, I'm homeschooled (that's right! stick it to the man! :D), and in my school I have 7 subjects:

Bible
Math
Language
Science
and HIstory are my primary subjects. I usually have to do a lesson/quiz/test of each a day. Then I have to do Spanish and Life Management (its like double the math >_<) as my electives or whatever. However, sometimes I get a lucky day, like today, when I don't have all 5 primary subjects assigning a job today. So for example, today I had a math & language lesson, plus the 2 secondary subjects. Which is awesome cause I finished school already X). However this most likely means I'll have a bunch of quizzes or tests on Monday :P And this will also happen more now as the amount of work left is spreading thin for the last few weeks of school, WOOHOO!

Victory!

Well, last Saturday was Paula's BBQ, and it was the last battle of my campaign. As you could probably guess, I didn't make it to the battle that day, which kinda sucks because it was the last one and all, but its cool because the BBQ was fun too! Either way, my team did great and we won the battle, and the campaign! :D Now, if I haven't already mentioned, I will not actively participate in the next campaign (#10) which will most likely be our last campaign before Battlefield 2 comes out. Mainly what this'll mean is I won't play at night as much as I used to, I'll mainly use it to work on my upcoming comic based on 21CW, talking to my AIM buds, and having a go at other games I've been wanting to play (Spring anyone? :D) so yea...I'll still be finishing school early to try and knife Casbar in TNT and stuff, so you Euro guys have nothing to worry your little heads about ;) . Anyway...yea, supposedly there's a Best of the Best contest going on this Saturday, which is a contest to find...yea, self-explainatory :P I won the last one we had, atleast the Infantry part of the contest (it was split up into Infantry, Armor, Airforce, etc.) and I ALMOST won Sniping, only 2 ppl, me and Insignus got 10/10 shots on that one, but he did it like...8 seconds faster...>_<

Anyway, the prize was a t-shirt I never got...but this time its different because we have a new IC (Airborne) whose got everything set up, pre-ordered shirts, and everythin'...I'll be trying on Spec-ops/Paradrop & Infantry/Light Mech this time 'round. I better get that shirt! ^_^

The current time is:

Yea ok...I can't fix this. The times on all posts before the last one are broken, and I'm too lazy to fix em, and I rather have the Blogger automatically have the right time then have to change it all the time. So just...don't worry about em ;)

This is just a test

BOOOOOOOP

Yea, quick blogs ey? Just noticed Blogger had my time at -8 GMT, Los Angeles Time o_O Set it to EST but having probs with it changing all my blog posts' time...

YAY! I fixed the freaking network!

Turns out I had Kerio blocking traffic on the network or something. It blocked pings and the Microsoft File and Printer sharing thing. Now I got everything working (not flawlessly yet, sometimes I need to disable real quick to view the comps on WORKGROUP and then I can reenable and browse) so with a little more tweaking, I got my stuff good! :D

You was optical illusion'd!

Ok guys, this is a cool optical illusion I had saved on my drive. First click on the iamge to get the full sized image. I guess you could do it without full size, but w/e. Anyway, look at both real quick and you see they look pretty much the same, but the right side is more blurred and light. Ok, now stare at the one at the left, at the lil red dot in the middle, for 30 seconds. Then look at the middle of the on on the right. The right side completely fades away! :D Posted by Hello

*Western theme music* Draw partner!

Hey, check out this cool site Fatty (Fatgirl, my sister Giselle...'member?) found. Lets you draw and record stuff, and then send to someone. I'll probably do one everyday, that way I'll have something to post even if I have nothing to post ;)

Today's Toucantastic Test, I drew this from a little toucan statue sovenir I got from Costa Rica some years (2? o_O) ago.

Anyway, yesterday was amazing and awesome. I knifed Casbar 4 times. Casbar ppl, that was so not his day. So that was cool, and the lightning storm we had in the evening was awesome too. The lights were all screwy at work and the battery back ups on all the comps were beeping constantly since the lights were going in and out. They had a generator and all this junk for power backup, so we always had a little power (for the comps atleast) and we never got sent home. Darn. :D

Comic blog...

Oh, its nothing big...just a little teaser image for...my comic. This does take quite a long process (well, it could be finished within...~6 hours or so), but when you only have...2-4 hours total in the day free, and you use all of it playing on TNT...! :D So this thing will definitely start rolling after school is done. I gotta change some things though, like learn how to display one post at a time, and add those next and previous buttons. I can't even figure out how to chnage the background color from white to tan! I blame it on society...

Random image of me in a FarCry demo o_O Posted by Hello

Womp

Did some timing s and such, laptop boots (everything) in about 45 seconds, while the desktop takes atleast 1.5 minutes, just so I can click the start menu (still needs to load a couple mroe programs). So yea...I will reformat, sometime after June 2nd when I'm done with school (1 MORE MONTH TILL VICTORY DARN IT!) and then that way, I won't have to reinstall my homeschool program, which installs some other crap like this SQL server which runs and slows down start time. I don't expect laptop times on this machine, but anything under a minute is good enough.

Anyway...a lot of my American tourney friends discovered TNT last night (TNT is the server me and the euro guys always play on) and they apprently had a blast. I was so mad though cuz I didn't capture one flag last night. The pubbies camp more, mines double in amount around flag, and there were 5 more of my teammates playing on the other side (I always join the opposite of their side, to even things out ^_^) so you know...I almost knifed Saptiva again, but I really messed that up. >_< Oh well, we'll see what happens tonight! :D

Yea...the silence...

I haven't posted for a couple days now. I'm not sure why, maybe I haven't had much to post about? You must've all been devastated the past days, without any reading material to...read...online. ;) Anyway, I plan on reformatting my comp soon, getting to slow for my liking. Needs some cleaning up anyway (Laptop is still a ~1 booter upper, its so sweet! :D). Lets hope that I dont bloat Windows up again. >_<

Comics or something...

Yea, now that I have a full set of art stuff (tablet pad, scanner, Photoshop, Streamline (raster to vector) and the might pencil and pen) I'm gonna try to draw some comics for 21CW. The comic will probably be called "Just Deserts" (you know? When you get "your just desserts" but this is desert, as in the dry barren place on not ice cream, since 21CW is based in the Gulf War....desert...:P) and I'll prob start a separate blog for it...:)

Yup! Just join my server people! Custom made map for Soldat based on my Stealth cartoon! :D

Part 3.5:

Yes, I'd just like to mention a couple more people! :D

Marter: Marter is the guy, who even though he's on your team, you just have to kill. Everyone TK's (team kills) Marter for unknown reasons, apparently he enjoys that or something. I know we all do! :D

Bubba: Bubba was our General last campaign and is not...a Sargeant Major I believe. He and Marter have been playing old games for a long time...as they are old...and Bubba has the funniest I'm-gonna-lose-mybreathe type laugh ever! I don't know how he does it.

Oz: Oz was our Captain, and is now a Major or something! He's a bad ICV driver, but a heck of a tanker (people who drive tanks! You gotta understand that one).

Saptiva: 1 of the...I believe its 4 girls, in the whole Opposition side. Yes, ladies play Battlefield too :P Saptiva is killer with a PKM and she's recently become the Ninja company's captain! We all love Saptiva, and if you check out my sig, I have fun sneaking up and knifing her quite a bit!

Bleh: Is still a noob, a poor poor college boy or something, but hey, if you need to Google something and happen to have a paypal account, sign up and use this one! :D

and yea....here's my sig that was mentioned...

I wub you Newegg...

I just bought my DGL-4300 Wireless Gaming Router:

and my Canon Canonscan Lide 35:

WOoWoo! Now I'll have wireless on the laptop, I'll have a network that finally won't lag me in Battlefield when...let's say, the fat girl over doesn't go onto some turtle forum, aaannd I'll now be able to scan in my drawings. ^_^ Posted by Hello
